Have you heard about TechJam? Thursday, June 12th, marks the 2nd annual, gathering of Boston techies at Fanueil and City Hall Plaza! The festival-style Boston event will combine music, food and networking all in one place. Each band in attendance will have at least one musician who works in the local technology industry.
The Boston event is also an opportunity for local startups to show off their stuff. Startups, entrepreneurs and students will take part in the “Pitch Contest” from 2 to 4 p.m. Each team will have 2 minutes to present their company’s idea and receive instant feedback from the panel. Also taking the stage will be experienced entrepreneurs and startups who will share their tricks of the trade with the audience.
There will be a number of exhibitors in attendance, including one of Boston Offices’ own, BigR.io, a management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company focused on Big Data and custom software solutions.
Food will be served along the food truck alley along with some Boston-based brews. Tickets to the Boston event are $10 and can be purchased through the event site.
